Sir Brian or either ‘Big B’ or ‘Sir B’ as he is sometimes affectionately called by his friends and colleagues, is a genuine and dedicated philanthropist who has worked tirelessly to help others in need. He is a supporter of a wide range of charitable causes including Cancer, Crohn’s, Leukaemia and disabled service veterans. In 2003 a hereditary Knighthood (HKt.B) was awarded to Brian for charitable works over the years from within the media.

The cornerstone of Brian’s life is the study of the martial arts, their principles and philosophies. He is an internationally accredited instructor and national level team coach for the World Karate organisation and who holds a black belt in three styles of the martial arts, however his real passion being Pak Mei (Bak Mei) Southern Shaolin Gung Fu. He has also been dedicated to strength and strength training, a path which has taken him through body building, power lifting, highland games, strength events and even to coaching the 4 time World’s Strongest Man, Jon Pall Sigmarsson.

Brian’s first work was in TV and theatre, where he made full use of his formal theatrical training. Starting by working as a stuntman and in specialising in stage combat and then in fire stunts, he quickly progressed on to character acting roles in films, on TV and on stage.

In1998 Brian secured an exclusive interview with US President Bill Clinton at the G-8 Summit meeting and later received a Creative Excellence award for best documentary at the US Film and TV Festival in Chicago 2001 for the documentary “Millennium Bridge”.

Capitalising on the skills he first learned as a stuntman, Brian earned two world records performing fire stunts in 1986-87. In 1988-89 he achieved 2 more world records in speed block breaking (martial arts) and then later on in 2005 he captured a Guinness World Record in plate spinning making a personal total of 5 World Records!

Brian’s other credits include those of author, international award winning TV producer and director, a TV presenter, sports coach lecturer and fitness professional, capped off with honours degrees and masters academic qualifications in Media and Film Production, Sport and Drama.

Based upon his numerous and often extraordinary experiences gained while on adventures above and below water across the globe, he has become an inspiring and inspirational motivational speaker.
